Th' Shyre had a white Christmas this year, about 3 feet of it!

September 19/20, I took 2 cuttings from my Weeping Willow trees and 1 from my Silver Maple and I put them all in a vase with water. Today, 2 and a half weeks later the Maple doesn't look so good but the Willows have new leaves and 3 inch roots! I couldn't believe it! So I planted the Willows in a pot with Perlite and left the Maple in the vase to give it more time. I'm going out to cut more Willows now!

Today was a perfect day to dig up the dead vegetables and plant the Angelique Tulip bulbs. We had a heavy frost last night so most of the veggies are dead. I hijacked the raised garden box with the cucumbers in it for the tulips. I had my supervisor watching my every move too. Good thing he's a nice guy!
